Online Calendar Tutorial
Our online appointment calendar makes it easy for you to set up and keep track of sessions with your advisees. If you use an office outside of the Academic Advising Center, you can specify the location where you will meet with students. When your advisees schedule an appointment with you, this location will appear on their appointment page and confirmation e-mail messages.
This following tutorial is designed to help advisors enter their office location and other contact information.
The online appointment calendar is located at:
http://aaswebsv.aas.duke.edu/calendar/login.html
When you go to the calendar, this screen appears:

To access the calendar, click the "Admin Calendar Entrance" button.
The Duke University NetID Services login screen appears:

Enter your NetID and password and click the "Enter" button. (Your NetID is the same as your ACPUB ID and password.) If you don't have a NetID, you'll need to apply for one with OIT in order to access the calendar system.
The Appointment Calendar Login screen appears:

To access your contact information, click the seventh button, "User Maintenance."
The User Maintenance screen appears:

To continue on to your contact information, click the "List All Users" button.
A User Maintenance screen appears. Your NetID is at the top, and the names of your advisees appear below. (By the way, for this tutorial, we're using generic names in the "Login" and "Name" columns. Your actual NetID and name will appear in the appropriate fields.)

To edit your contact information, click your NetID in the "Login" column.
A User Maintenance screen with your contact information appears:

Make sure your phone, e-mail and other contact information is correct.
If "Advising Center" appears in the first room box, and you will not be meeting students there, go ahead and delete the text, and enter the location where you will be meeting with advisees. If you use more than one office, you can enter more locations in the other boxes.

To save the updated information, simply click the "Press to Rewrite With New Information" button.

A confirmation message telling you that the record has been updated appears.
To exit the system, click one of the two "Logout" buttons (found on either the left or the bottom of your screen).
